Refresher Training
BZ Advanced Standing
The BZ Refresher Training or Advanced Standing Training program provides students with basic theoretical and practical training to safely operate a Tractor-Trailer. Each package listed below includes a Road Test at a Drive Test Centre, which upon successful completing students will receive an Ontario BZ Driver’s License.
If you have been previously licensed or licensed in another country or possess significant experience driving a Bus and are unable to commit to the full BZ Program, these packages may be the perfect option for you!

How long is the course and what does it cost?
Depending on your experience (or lack of experience) you can register for a combination of training programs that suit your needs.
Each Driving Lesson is scheduled for 1 Full Hour.
Topics covered during training include Vehicle Inspections, On the Road Training, Yard Work and Safety Procedures.
Lessons can be scheduled 7 days a week, from 8am-10pm.

What will I graduate with?
Upon successfully completing a Road Test with the MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) Students will receive an Ontario BZ Driver’s License.
What do I need before I can begin?
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ License or higher
- Knowledge verification of Rules of the Road and Signs. Handbook and materials provided to help in passing the knowledge tests.
- MTO approved Medical Form completed
- Have not been convicted or found guilty within the preceding five years of two or more offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, committed on different dates by means of a motor vehicle, or while driving or having care and control of a motor vehicle.
